Madhya Pradesh Class 12 Board Exam 2014 Result Will Be Out In May

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) had conducted 12th board examinations which began on 1st March, 2014 and ended on 5th April, 2014. The Board had also alloted a time period of 3 hours for every subject's examination.

MPBSE was founded in 1965, it is the state Government Board of School Education. Its main job is to monitor, regulate and supervise the system of intermediate education in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Apart from organising examination, the Board also involves in activities like devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, granting affiliations to colleges. The board also conducts Middle School Exam, SSC & HSC examinations for both private and regular students. The results are likely to be announced in the month of May as per resources, following the last year's trend.

The academic session of 2013 saw the students receiving their results in May. An option to register their email Ids and mobile numbers with the Board will enable the students to get notifications and announcements pertaining to the examination...

Karnataka SSLC and II PUC exams 2014 results to be out by May 10

The Karnataka state SSLC and II PUC board examination 2014 results will be declared the first week of May 2014. Both the results will be declared with just a gap of two days.

The state board officials stated that the results will be published tentatively between May 04 and May 10.

II Pre-University Certificate (PUC) examinations for popularly known as Class 12 exams were conducted between March 12, 2014 and March 27, 2014. Karnataka State Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination or popularly known as Class 10 exams was started on March 28, 2014 for the academic year 2013-14 and ended on April 9, 2014.

Nearly 6 lakh candidates appeared for PUC exams, out of which more than two lakh candidates took exam in Commerce stream, about 2.5 lakh candidates in Arts stream and more than 1.7 lakh candidates in Science Stream.

Nearly 8.26 lakh candidates had appeared for SSLC exams, out of which 7.62 lakh were fresh candidates. 41,269 candidates were repeat students. Private students appeared for this examination is 21,670.

There were certain speculations about the board planning to do away with the SSLC and PUC exams. However, the board has also affirmed the continuity of the exams with large-scale changes in the syllabus in lines with the CBSE Class-10 syllabus to help state board students better with national boards.

GATE 2014 results to be announced tomorrow

GATE is an all India examinations for candidates having undergraduate subjects in engineering/technology/architecture and post-graduate level subjects in science.

The GATE score assists in getting admissions to post-graduate programmes (ME, M Tech, direct PhD) in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by the HRD Ministry and other government agencies.

For getting admissions in postgraduate programmes or direct PhD in IITs and IISc, a valid GATE score is required.

Teachers await exemption from poll duty

In what might delay the state board results, the teachers engaged in the correction and moderation of the board examination papers have yet not been exempted from the election duty.

"Several teachers have received letters instructing them to join the election duty. The teachers will be unable to attend the moderators meeting and this might affect the evaluation of board papers finally delaying the results," said Uday Nare, teacher from Hansraj Morarji Public School, Andheri.

On February 6,the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education had written to the election commission asking the teachers to be exempt from election duty.

The unaided school association has also written to the election commission demanding the same.
